Fun Week!

Between the packing for Haiti and our usual fun activities, I didn't take very many pictures! Here's a wrap up of our week though.

Tuesday morning, Bo went to play with Tripp while I took Arabelle to the free Tuesday movie in Douglas! She was so excited that it was going to be just the two of us and "Bo can't go!". ;)

We ended up taking a 3 little boys who go to church with us, so we had a car load!

Wednesday was storytime at the library. They had a magician and it was really entertaining! Bo's favorite was the rabbit, of course. The magician put it back in it's cage and Bo kept saying "Rabbit go??!!".

We had 4 church kids with us at the library, so we grabbed value burgers and fries at BK and had a picnic in the yard. Fun morning!

Wednesday afternoon, Arabelle was really wanting to paint! I grabbed a cardboard box, the paint, and brushes and they went to town!

Of course, after painting, they washed off in the pool. ;)

Thursday was a BUSY day! We had lots of errands to run to get ready for the trip. After getting us all dressed, I was cleaning the kitchen and Arabelle asked if they could play on the back porch. I said sure, forgetting the little paint bottles were still on the back porch. I went out 5 min. later to find Arabelle had taken all the paint tops off and poured paint in them, set them on the window sill, and was instructing Bo to pain the window. He was happily obliging! ha!

Arabelle had the "I'm going to get in TROUBLE!" look on her face, then pointed out that Bo was painting, not her. Nice try, Arabelle!

I surprised her and told them just to have at it and we'd clean it up later.  

Bo was worn our from the morning activities and went right to sleep for his nap, after adjusting his pillow, blanket, etc. He slept like this for over 2 hours!

We grilled out for supper and sent the kids to Pineview with Mamaw and Papaw. They both RAN down the hallway and out the door to get in the van to go. They were emphatically waving bye and blowing kisses. Bo was even yelling "Go Papaw, Go!!". :)

Last Week

We had a great week last week! We did the usual fun stuff plus VBS each night!

I didn't take many pictures, but here are a couple!

Wednesday, we went to story time at the library then to Burger King for a fun lunch.

Thursday we met our friends at the park before meeting Jared for our usual pizza lunch. Here's the 4 having fun!

I guess we've been busy! I've been letting the pictures pile up the last several days.

Here's what we've been up to!

Arabelle wrote her name for the first time last week! I was so proud of her! She might have been more excited when she wrote Bo's name. :)

 Finally got some new sand for the sand table.

We went to the church playground last week. Arabelle always thinks it's such a treat! She really likes this new outfit from Papa and Grandma LaVell. She put it on and said she was dressed like me.

It was "silly day" at school on Friday. She wore some striped leg warmers with this dress and had 4 pony tails and all the hair accessories she wanted. :)

 I took Bo to the library for story time on Friday, then to the park. He carried this balloon around all day Friday!

Field Trip

Arabelle's class took a trip to the ceramic studio and library on Wednesday. Sambo kept Bo for me, so I could  relax a little and enjoy Arabelle. I didn't think a ceramics studio + 19 mo. old was a good combination!

As you know, Arabelle LOVES to paint, so this was right up her alley. They painted Easter eggs at the ceramics studio.

We walked to the library, then the kids had a little snack before story time. Arabelle goes to story time on Tuesdays in Broxton, so she is familiar with the children's librarian, Ms. Angela. She read them 2 books and talked about the library. Arabelle picked out a few books to check out before we left.

I asked Arabelle if she wanted to go to school for the last hour or go with me to pick up Bo from Sambo's office. She said "I'll go with you and get a treat (M&Ms) at Sambo's office.". Smart girl. 

It was a fun morning with my favorite little girl!

Library

Arabelle enjoyed going to the library this summer for story time. Our neighbor, "Miss" Sue and her great-grandson took her on Tuesday afternoons.  Here are a few pictures that the librarian took and had posted on their website.

Our Day

We had a fun day today, well except for Bo teething like there's no tomorrow. The poor boy has big swollen upper gums and an ulcerative white spot where the tooth is about to erupt. Hopefully it will come on in soon and we all can get some relief!

This morning, they had a reptile show at the library, so we went to that. It was a packed house! Arabelle was entertained long enough to see a lizzard, frog, & snake, then she was ready to go.

She wanted a ponytail like mine today. It makes her look so grown up!

At the library

We ran to Harvey's to take advantage of their 2 for 1 on Tetley tea. If you know Jared, you know how much he likes his sweet tea! I had coupons & loaded coupons on my Harvey's card, so I got 2 boxes of Family Sized tea bags for $0.18! That's my deal of the week!

Arabelle wanted to sit on this 3 wheeler outside of Harveys.  Please don't tell her you can make it move if you put money in it! ha!

Bo has been enjoying pushing his little car around the back yard this week. Here he is in action!
