Spring, Winter, Spring, Winter....

Bo is so confused about what season it is. Arabelle gets that it's still winter, no matter how warm it may be. The other day, when it was in the 70s, Bo ran outside (happy to be in shorts and short sleeves!) and yelled, "It's SUMMER!! No, it's Spring!!!". :)

Sunday afternoon was so nice and we knew that cold weather was coming, so we took full advantage!

They have been loving the trampoline!

Arabelle was riding by on Bo's bike and Mae was waving and smiling so big!

Arabelle wanted to ride Bo's bike, so Bo let her (surprisingly) and he took the little old tricycle.

Still watching big brother and sister!

We are ready for the REAL Spring to be here!

Fall Festivals!

We've had a busy fall festival season with lots of fun and candy!

We started with our church's fall festival. The kids enjoyed the games and bouncy house/maze thing, plus lots of yummy food!

Arabelle, Bo, and Mae dressed as superheroes. :)

Arabelle and her BFF. :)
 Playing games:

And cotton candy!!!

We also went around the neighborhood Thursday evening for a bit more candy. Halloween to us is all about costumes and candy!!

Arabelle chose to be Tiana that day.

And this past Saturday, we went to Pineview for their Harvest Festival!

Waiting for the parade to start:

Grandpa came around last and we hopped in his convertible to toss out some candy. It was fun!

As you can see, Bo got hungry.

We made it out to the festival at the park on the edge of town. Arabelle, Bo, and Mamaw enjoyed the train ride:

And Arabelle spotted the lemonade stand on the ride.

Aunt Dawn came down for the fun and Arabelle & Bo enjoyed chasing and cutting up with her.

They had this really neat thing....you get in your 'bubble', the go out on the water and jump around. Arabelle and Bo loved it!

It must have been a little loud when they were blowing up the bubble.

As you can see, we've been staying busy and having a lot of fun!

Strolling Mae

Bo likes to pretend he is a baby and Arabelle will stroll him around the house in the baby doll stroller. Friday, Arabelle wanted to stroll Mae, so I helped her in (and watched them closely!!).

Bo thought it was so funny and Arabelle was so happy.

Not so sure what Mae was thinking......

She looks so big in the little stroller!!

Messy Painting

2 Saturdays ago (I am behind!!), Jared was gone to Athens for the ball game and I was hoping to make our day at home super fun!

I took some cardboard out and gave Arabelle and Bo the paint and let them have at it. No instructions and no worry about a mess. Here was the results!

I think painting outside is one of their favorite things to do. :)

Our Week

*We are still homeschooling, but I've decided to do a monthly summary instead of a weekly one....it's too stressful to try to do it each week!

We had a fun week!

Mae is ticklish and has a sweet giggle. :)

Bo is doing great at riding his new bike (and still prefers to just wear his undies most of the time)!

Thursday Arabelle and Bo made some delicious stone stew.

With a side of frog. Arabelle loves to 'train' frogs and they try to get away as fast as possible!

Mae faced outwards in the baby carrier for the first time and loved seeing all the action. I can't believe she's big enough already!

They love helping cook and I try to relax and let them do it (even if it takes forever and makes a huge mess). They made pigs in a blanket all by themselves for lunch one day (I put them in and took them out of the oven).

Arabelle gets really creative during 'rest' time. She set up all her books as a fence around the princesses and the little Lego man was grilling for them. Haha!

I have also figured out how to get Bo to nap. Just cuddle for about 10 minutes and he's out like a light. Of course, I have to say, "Bo, be still. Bo, close your eyes. Stop moving. Bo? Go to sleep. Get still.", but it works!

Looking forward to a beach week next week!!!
