Fun Days!

We've been enjoying some routine fun days around here! Here's a bit of the fun we had last week!

Tuesday we went to the FREE kids' movie, Rio! Arabelle requested her hair like this. Cute!

Fun Week!

Between the packing for Haiti and our usual fun activities, I didn't take very many pictures! Here's a wrap up of our week though.

Tuesday morning, Bo went to play with Tripp while I took Arabelle to the free Tuesday movie in Douglas! She was so excited that it was going to be just the two of us and "Bo can't go!". ;)

We ended up taking a 3 little boys who go to church with us, so we had a car load!

Wednesday was storytime at the library. They had a magician and it was really entertaining! Bo's favorite was the rabbit, of course. The magician put it back in it's cage and Bo kept saying "Rabbit go??!!".

We had 4 church kids with us at the library, so we grabbed value burgers and fries at BK and had a picnic in the yard. Fun morning!

Wednesday afternoon, Arabelle was really wanting to paint! I grabbed a cardboard box, the paint, and brushes and they went to town!

Of course, after painting, they washed off in the pool. ;)

Thursday was a BUSY day! We had lots of errands to run to get ready for the trip. After getting us all dressed, I was cleaning the kitchen and Arabelle asked if they could play on the back porch. I said sure, forgetting the little paint bottles were still on the back porch. I went out 5 min. later to find Arabelle had taken all the paint tops off and poured paint in them, set them on the window sill, and was instructing Bo to pain the window. He was happily obliging! ha!

Arabelle had the "I'm going to get in TROUBLE!" look on her face, then pointed out that Bo was painting, not her. Nice try, Arabelle!

I surprised her and told them just to have at it and we'd clean it up later.  

Bo was worn our from the morning activities and went right to sleep for his nap, after adjusting his pillow, blanket, etc. He slept like this for over 2 hours!

We grilled out for supper and sent the kids to Pineview with Mamaw and Papaw. They both RAN down the hallway and out the door to get in the van to go. They were emphatically waving bye and blowing kisses. Bo was even yelling "Go Papaw, Go!!". :)

Beauty & the Beast

Saturday afternoon, I took Arabelle to see Beauty & the Beast! She had been to the movies once, before Bo was born. We went to the free summer movie one day. I don't think she even remembered going. 

She was SO excited, as you can see! She wore her Belle dress, earrings, crown, and bracelets!

On the way, we stopped at Connie's house so she could show him, Sambo, Leigh-Leigh, Aunt Kay, Uncle Gary, & Grant her dress. She ran in, twirled, spun around, flung her arms, and was just generally cute! When we were getting back in the car, she said "They all liked my dress!". :)

The movie was in 3D, so when we put the glasses on, she said "The letters are coming off the TV!!!". We got popcorn and M&Ms. She had her M&Ms first, then some popcorn. I thought she might be afraid of the Beast, but she didn't say anything or act scared. Big girl! We had such a fun time!!
