Poppell Farms Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

On Tuesday, we had our field trip to the pumpkin patch. We went to Poppell Farms in Odom. It was our first time out there and was really happy with all the activities for the kids!

The kids were soooo excited that Leigh Leigh came with us! Mama was excited to have extra hands and eyes. ;)

The kids loved the duck run...lots of little rubber ducks and water to pump to send them down the 'slide'.

Zeke was a little uncertain of the activities.

Feeding the fish:

They enjoyed the petting zoo.

Bo took some pictures too. Mostly a lot of me....ha! He got a cute one of Zeke though:

Hay Ride:

I thought it would be sweet to take a picture with Bo and Mae, but neither of them thought it was a good plan. I got a laugh out of this one when I got home and uploaded it.

That's better!

Mae loved picking out her little pumpkin!

Mae did NOT like Bo trying to take a picture together.

The whole group.....50+ kids!

Picnic time:

Then the playground:

This was Bo's favorite. He stayed in there for about an hour, I think. And brought home a few kernels in his pockets.

They wanted to carve their little pumpkins, so Bo drew a scary face on his.

Mae didn't want to carve hers. She was very protective. "MINE!!!!"

Bo loves his pumpkin. He put it in the swing today and took it down the slide. Ha!

The pumpkin patch is always one of my favorite Fall traditions!
