Races

We have been BUSY, but here's a couple of videos from yesterday evening. Arabelle and Bo were having some races and playing tag, so Mae joined in. :)

Mae Time

Arabelle and Bo were at "Bug Camp" at FBC Douglas for most of the week, so Mae and I had some great one-on-one time!

Mae LOVES playing on the trampoline (without Arabelle and Bo, of course!)

She also did a little swinging and giggling. 

I loved all the giggles and fun we had together! 

Watermelon

Papaw's watermelons aren't quite ready yet, but we've gotten some from other people to enjoy. Watermelon is Arabelle's favorite food!

It may be one of Mae's favorite foods too.

30th Birthday

Enjoyed celebrating my 30th birthday on Sunday (well, except the part about waking up with UTI symptoms at 3am, skipping part of church to go to the walk-in clinic to get meds, and feeling pretty badly most of the day). 

I was glad to get a couple of good pictures with my favorite little people! 

Arabelle took a few pictures for us.

Jared cooked us breakfast and Arabelle had made a card (full of glitter) and Bo picked out a pack of gum for me. Of course, right when I opened it, he wanted a piece. He loves gum! 

When the kids went to the dollar store after church on Sunday, Sambo let the kids buy me a present. Arabelle chose this beautiful retro looking lamp. I've got to get a bulb for it and put it on display! 

Bo picked out some 'punch balloons' that I apparently have always wanted. :) He and Tripp had fun with them and I never saw them after I blew one up. ha! 

Mae and I had long afternoon naps, so that was a nice birthday treat. 

My 20s were SO amazing and I'm excited to see what this decade will hold! 

Mini Beach Vacation

Last week, I took Arabelle and Bo on a mini-beach vacation. They were SO excited! Mae went to Papaw and Mamaw's house for her first overnight trip without me and she did great. That's a relief!

We left Thursday morning and came home Friday afternoon. Our close friends (and Arabelle and Bo's best buddies!) were down there, so we met up and had some fun!

We got there around 11 and the hotel had our room ready early, so we ate the lunch I packed us and got out on the beach! I didn't take a whole lot of pictures....I was too busy playing!

We played on the beach by our hotel for a couple of hours, then went and played with our friends the rest of the afternoon and evening. We made it back to the hotel around 9 and crashed!

They had a lot of fun riding the elevator, except when they felt wronged on who was supposed to push the button. That pout!

Friday morning, we were up early and ready to go! Well, almost. Bo waited for us by the door like this when we were getting dressed for breakfast. ha!

We were out on the beach by 7:45!

We went down to the condo again after we checked out of the hotel around 10 and played until lunch. The weather was perfect on Friday!

I took these last two when we pulled into the driveway. Bo slept most of the way home and Arabelle fell asleep about 15 minutes before home.

We were worn out, but happy to see Mae! 

You've been warned

A couple of weeks ago, we went to an evening birthday party. Water slide, pool, pizza, cake, etc. It was so fun! After all the kids ate, one of the birthday boys left most of his piece of cake on the little table. I was watching Mae toddle around and play and she climbed right up in the chair and polished off his piece of cake. Ha!

I asked her, "Mae, where did the cake go?". Haha!

Early Mornings

One day last week, we were outside and playing before 8:00! Bathing suits, swinging, and playing in the water!

We're still pretending that summer will last forever. ;)

Mae's new trick

Mae has a new trick...climbing up the play set! It has added a new dimension to our outside time, that's for sure.

She likes to climb up and sit for awhile before sliding down (with help). 

Peek-a-boo!

She's sporting her new rain boots she got with her birthday money! They're a size big, so they'll be perfect for Fall (if it ever rains again). Thanks Aunt Dawn!

This is her other new thing. I can ask her where something is and she makes the "I don't know" hands. I love it! I ask her random questions all the time just to see it. Haha!

And it's time to head in for a nap. :)
