It all started 2 weeks ago during Vacation Bible School. He got hooked on the little stuffed Minnie Mouse in the church's nursery. All week long, if I said something about VBS, he'd say "Minnie Mouse!".
Then last week, he found the Minnie Mouse that was on Arabelle's birthday cake last year. He held her all day and all night. Sunday, I noticed the leg was about to fall off, so when I was at the store Monday, I found him this Mickey Mouse!
Good timing too, because Minnie's leg fell off Monday and he was SO upset. He'd get over it, then remember and cry again. Poor thing! I've hidden away the Minnie and he's super happy with the Mickey, as you can see.
And of course, when it's Bo's turn to pick the show they watch before bedtime, he always chooses Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. :)
It's interesting because at this age, Arabelle was all about Elmo, hence the Elmo birthday party when she turned 2. For her 3rd birthday, she was into Mickey Mouse. I wonder what Bo will be into in a few months for his birthday!

ReplyDeleteWe have that mickey mouse as well (and the minnie, goofy and pluto too!) They were the "theme" characters from Noah's first birthday! We're still big Mickey Mouse clubhouse fans here as well <3
