One year. It goes by fast, but sometimes seems slow. I don't see them changing much, until I look back at a picture from a year ago. Then I realize how little they were and how big they are. Then I think about how next year, I'll see they are so much bigger and how little they looked this year.
I needed this today, after an especially tough 2 days with Bo (the whining, disobedience, etc.). He's growing so fast (especially his foot!!).
Since school was cancelled on Wednesday (TONS of rain this week!), the kids' Valentine party got moved to Thursday. They were SO excited this morning!
I found these little mailboxes at Target for $1 a couple of weeks ago. They were perfect to stuff a few little treats in and I know they'll LOVE playing with them!
Bo was yelling "Valentine!"
Party time at school!
And apparently she was terrified. ha! I got a good laugh when I uploaded this picture a bit ago.
Bo enjoyed his party too!
Arabelle finished up art class for the week today, so Bo and I have had some quiet afternoons this week! Bo got a chocolate covered marshmallow in one of his treat bags and I had stuck it back towards the back of the counter today, thinking Jared would enjoy it (they had a TON of treats at school!). Well, Bo found it (thanks to a step stool) and asked for it. Then he started dancing away to the music I had playing:
Arabelle had her Valentine's Day party at school on Monday (she doesn't go on Tuesdays). Arabelle was excited to take treats to school, but more excited that Bo was going to her party!!
She was dancing in this one!
Saying the blessing at school. So sweet!
Bo got to sit beside Arabelle. She was SO excited! Arabelle was the only one who had a sibling there, so Bo got a lot of attention! He didn't want to leave when it was time to go.
Arabelle's class
Valentine's Day proved to be a long day. Arabelle woke up at 5am to use the restroom and didn't go back to sleep. We just hung out at home most of the day. Luckily, we had gotten Bo a new carseat for Jared's car, so we had a big box to play with! I ended up cutting it apart and drawing a road, etc. on it. They loved it!
