Super Mae

Mae's preschool class was learning the letter S last week, so they had "Superhero Day" on Friday. She went as "Super Mae".

She has finally started letting me put pigtails in her hair and they are the cutest!

Mae's Field Trip--Pumpkin Patch

We have been going to Red Brick Farms with the pre-school for 5 years now. It was Mae's turn this year and she was really excited!

Arabelle and Bo spent a few hours with Jared while Mae, Zeke, and I went to the pumpkin patch.

She loved all the pumpkins on display.

All my kids have loved sitting in the little tractors. Then they get disappointed when they won't GO!

Her little class. She's peeking through the blonde headed hole...

Her favorite was the corn bin.

 And the snack. :)

Zeke slept in the baby carrier and woke up for a picture too.

She also played on the playset (and had a pee accident too....oops!) and we went on the longest hayride in history. ;)

Because I'm a sucker for comparison pictures, here is Arabelle at 2 years 1 mo and Mae at 2 years 5 mo.

And Bo at 2 years 2 mo and Mae at 2 years 5 mo.

Cowgirl Mae

Mae had Cowgirl Day at pre-school last week! I'm sure she was the cutest one there. :)

When I dressed her, I instantly thought of Arabelle wearing the same outfit! Here's Mae at 2 years 3 months and Arabelle at 3 years old. :)

Mae's First Day of Pre-school

Mae had her first day of pre-school today! She will be going on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

She looked a little unsure about taking a picture....

I can't believe how BIG she is now!

She had a really fun time. I figured out she played on the playground, went down the slide, painted her hands and did a hand print on a piece of paper. She also said she ate some cookies and the class pet, a rabbit, ate a carrot. Haha!

First and Last Day of School

This school year flew by! We discovered Zeke was on his way at the beginning of the school year and he was born at the end of the school year. :)

I love comparing how much they grew in a school year, so here they are from August 2014 to May 2015.

Mae didn't quite understand the 'stand in front of the door for a picture' concept in August, but she sure did in May!

Now we're ready to enjoy the summer!

Easter Activities!

The Easter activities have started! We had our annual Easter celebration at church this past Wednesday, so we dyed the eggs for it on Tuesday morning. I set up everything on the back porch because, hello, 6 hands, cups of liquid egg dye, boiled eggs.....

The kids were SO EXCITED!!! I was just glad it was done. Ha! They made some really pretty eggs!

Arabelle had done 'clown faces' on herself and Bo a little earlier. Ha!

And I'm glad we don't have to do that again for a year! :p

They kids were really excited about the activities at church Wed. too! Arabelle had practiced with Mae, so she would know how to hunt eggs. :)

Arabelle and her friend Harleigh loved the egg toss game!

And today Mae had her Easter party at school. It wasn't her usual day, but she was glad to go for some fun! They made these cute t-shirts for the kids....I'm glad someone is crafty!

The big kids and I stopped at the bakery on the way to get them a snack to eat while Mae was eating. It took Bo forever to eat this baseball cookie. :)

She was thrilled to find this soccer ball egg!

Even after all the eggs were picked up, she was running around like crazy!

Bo is 4 years old!

Bo is 4 years old! I can't believe that he's gotten so big. He was SO excited about turning four. He told me that he thought he'd look like a grown up when he woke up this morning. He was disappointed that he wasn't grown, but he did say he thought he looked a little taller. :)

Tuesday night, I took his last few pictures as a three year old. He busted out this crazy face right away. Clown.

He's such a handsome boy. He asked me to cut his hair on Tuesday. He wanted to "be bald like Daddy!", but I buzzed it with the #1 guard on and he's happy with it.

Here he is with the treasured 'red truck'. He got this for Christmas when he was two. YES, two!!! He carries it everywhere and sleeps with it.

He is such a loving boy. Can he be a "mama's boy" forever??

He woke up about the same time as Mae, so we did a little quick cuddling (he gets up and comes to our bed to snuggle in the mornings...I love it!), before getting the day going. We ALWAYS start with birthday pancakes!

His favorite...bubble tape!!! He also got a Captain America t-shirt.

I also got him some helium balloons from the dollar store. $1 balloons that will entertain them for a week? An obvious yes!

He had a little party at his pre-school today during snack time. He wanted a "Captain America" party, so I ordered some little plastic rings off Amazon. I ordered a pack of 24, but they sent me 12, in a flimsy little envelope and one was broken. Cue a sad birthday boy. I ended up giving him one to wear/carry to school and just didn't worry about the rest (and Amazon gave me my $$ back + $5 credit).

Arabelle was SO excited about Bo's birthday!

Bo's cupcake fell apart and so did he.
Bo's class. I'm sure all the Mom's hate me now. The kids had red or blue icing all over their clothes. Oops!

The celebration will continue tomorrow when Mamaw and Papaw visit. Then we're foregoing a big birthday party this year and spending a day at the Magic Kingdom next week. We're excited!!!

Our baby boy has grown and changed so much in the last 4 years! We love you Bo!
