Papaw's Pumpkin Patch

Papaw planted a pumpkin patch this year! The pumpkins are looking great and should be ready in a month.

Lindsey and Brian went out of town over the weekend and Caleb was in Pineview for a few days! We all enjoyed the weekend together!

As you can see, it was a fun time!

We enjoyed the day at home Monday for Labor Day. Arabelle got Jared all set up here with the basket on his head and pillows all around. Bo climbed up and got cozy too!

Our coffee table is a lift top table, so Arabelle likes to play under it. She was making a 'crib' for herself.

She loves to play make believe. She's really creative!

Tuesday, Arabelle asked to do a craft, so we made Fall trees.

Bo loved getting his own glue stick. Very focused!

Backward Bears

Arabelle and Bo studied the letter 'B' a few weeks ago at school. They both had a special 'B' day.

Bo had "Bring a bear to school day". I tried to convince Arabelle we needed to find a real bear, but she was pretty sure they meant Teddy Bear.

Arabelle also made a bear mask. Pretty ferocious!

Moss Pie

We took a walk Tuesday morning, like we do most mornings we stay home. They have both graduated from the stroller and like to explore on these "walks". Fortunately, despite living in town, there are rarely cars around.

Arabelle and Bo collected flowers, weeds, acorns, and moss! Arabelle just had to make us a "Moss Pie with Carrots".

She worked very hard to piece all the moss back together and sprinkled "carrots" on top. The "carrots" were flower petals.

It was delicious, as you can imagine! ;)

Labor Day: Been Workin' Hard!

Arabelle and Bo have been working hard around here! They have been LOVING their wheelbarrow and tool set. We always spend a little time on the 'dirt pile' digging and playing.

It hasn't been all work though. They have to get washed off somehow!

This is why they make swim diapers! Bo hopped in the pool wearing a regular diaper and boy did it soak up a bunch of water!

He could barely walk once it was full.

We've been enjoying the holiday with "Daddy" home!
