Another Lefty?

Arabelle has turned out to be left handed and it looks like Bo is heading that way too. Surprising!

Bo LOVES to play with Play-doh. He likes to use a little plastic knife to cut the "snakes" that I make him.

Saturday, the kids, Mamaw, & I went to Macon to catch Anderson's last t-ball game. After the game and enjoying some time with the Bloodworth's, we went back to Pineview to WORK!

Arabelle was looking forward to helping Papaw dig potatoes, then swimming.

He was already working and Arabelle got right to it (and became the boss lady!). She really likes to point out when you 'miss' one, even though it's way ahead.

I got changed and started helping, then Arabelle went behind me and was burying potatoes and digging them back up, saying I had missed them. Thank goodness we had Arabelle out there!!

She found a cricket and was showing it to Bo. He didn't think too much of digging potatoes.

She kept saying she was getting sweaty. I told her she could get in the pool when we got to the end of the row. She finally said "I'm sweaty. I'm not working anymore!". :)

She enjoyed a juice pouch and some Gatorade to cool down before the pool!

It was a fun day at work (and I was a little sore Sunday morning!).

State Park Playdate!

We met up with our friends, the Morgans, on Thursday at the State Park. They have kids the same age as Arabelle and Bo + a new baby.

They have all kinds of animals there and the kids had a great time! Arabelle enjoyed feeding the ducks, fish, & goats, while Bo ate the stale bread. ;)

It was really fun and we look forward to more park time this summer!

Preschool Luau

Arabelle's school had their annual end of the year Luau on Wednesday morning. Arabelle was SO excited that Bo was going to get to go and play on the play ground with her.

We got there a few minutes after it started and found Arabelle. I love sneaking up on her at school and the happy look she gets when she sees us. :)

Right away, she showed Bo all the playground equipment!

Then it was time for sno-cones!! Bo picked green and Arabelle chose purple. :)

We caught up with Gigi and Rhianna for a bit.

I wish you could see how fast Arabelle was riding this horse!

Then we hit up the food table! Cheetos....yum!

Arabelle and her 'best friend' Breana. Hopefully they will be in class together next year!!

One last smile before it was time to go!

Bo was NOT ready to go at all. He kept saying "bye bye!" and waving. I don't think he would have minded if we left him there! He'll get to go to school next year!

Baking

Tuesday morning, we played outside a bit, then decided to make a blueberry cake! I had TWO good helpers in the kitchen. I figured it'd be easier on me and more fun for them to give them their own bowls and let them do their own cooking.

They each started with a bowl of flour and I added random things from the cabinets as I went along. Arabelle's favorite ingredient was the sprinkles. :) Bo kept tasting his, then making an ugly face, but tasting it again.

Arabelle was proud of hers, so much so that she thought we should pour it on top of the cake and cook it!

Now I just need to get my helpers to clean up the kitchen!

Pickin' Wildflowers

There's a little field down the street that has some pretty wildflowers growing in it. Of course, I saw it as the PERFECT place to take Arabelle for a little photo shoot!

I was hoping the sky would be blue for this, but it was pretty overcast Tuesday morning when we did this. I thought they turned out cute though!

This was my favorite! 

Pool Time!

We went to Pineview on Saturday to spend some time with the Love boys and take a dip in the pool. It was COLD, but Arabelle didn't mind. :)

Arabelle remembered that Mamaw bought some goggles earlier in the year. On the way, she told me she wanted the blue pair.
